Here We go

Well, I think I just switched my feedblitz subscribers over to this WordPress blog, but I won’t know if it worked until tomorrow. Since I”m subscribed to my own blog, I should get something in my Inbox in the morning.

If all is working well there, then I’ll consider myself officially moved to WordPress and begin slowly adding elements to the site as I have time and inclination. Plus I have a bunch of actual blog posts instead of these little construction notices I’ve been putting up.

Thanks for your patience!

    Hi Karen,

Just a very quick note to let you know that feedblitz picked up this post just fine from WordPress.

We received it about an hour ago, the same time as usual (6:30pm our local time – a great evening read for your subscribers in Australia and New Zealand).

It seems that the change has been virtually transparent from the reader’s point of view. 🙂

    By His grace,

    Mike and CarolAnn.

Oh, I’m SO glad you activated the comments here! I can’t tell you how many times in the past year and more I’ve started an email to you, only to get bogged down in how much to share, or called away by “real” life, or whatever … but you’ve continued to be in my thoughts and prayers, and I’ve been greatly blessed by many of your blog posts!

Anyway, the WordPress blog looks great and Feedblitz worked just fine! (love the bio pic!!)

Thanks Shannon. I’m so glad to know you’ve been blessed by some of my posts. And I know what you mean about getting bogged down in writing emails! We’ll see how I do with the comments here. So far I really like the way WordPress has it set up. Makes it SO much easier to deal with them.

Thanks for the comment, Becky. I’m still working my way through the ins and outs of how this comment system works but wow is it easy to respond! Not like Blogger where you have to go back to the blog, open up the comment window, deal with that obnoxious security sequence… this is a breeze.

Hi, Karen! I was wondering if your publisher plans to release a Kindle version (from Amazon) of your books. I was just given one (and love it!) but none of your books are available. 🙁

As a side note, I just downloaded Assassin’s Apprentice for free! It’s on their list of free downloads, and since I saw it on your recommended books, I thought I’d go for it.

If Bethany House is planning on it, they haven’t told me about it! I’ve had quite a few requests for it. Hope you enjoy Assassin’s Apprentice. When you download onto Kindle do you get to see the gorgeous cover? That’s mainly what persuaded me to buy that book in the first place. And then it’s got everything wrong, but who cares because it is just SO cool.

My version doesn’t show the cover, but I did get it from the library before I downloaded it, so I saw it. 🙂 Some kindle editions do have covers/pictures, though.

Good to know that I need to ask Bethany House. Can’t hurt to let them know your books are in demand!
